How is the procedure done?

This procedure is done in local anesthesia, doctor or assistant applies koferdam
(see why us / our equipment), which is locked on the tooth with clamps. It provides dry field
for the procedure, lack of access for saliva, prevents exposition of mucous membranes to
concentrated washing fluids. It protects against canal tools aspiration.

After opening the chamber and reaching canal, the whole content is removed. Mechanical
preparation (with mechanical or rotating tools) is supported by rich flushing with concentrated
fluids (citric acid, izopropylic alcohol).

Dead tooth 36, not properly treated canals, well visible bone
lesions (inflammation), repeated canal treatment, final filling
with lateral condensation method, follow-up x-ray image after
four months

It is important to prepare canals in their whole length. With use of endometer
the length of canal is measured electronically. Difference in electric current conduction
through tooth tissues and around them is used in this method.

Before procedure, during and afterwards radiovision pictures are taken for medical record.

The procedure is finished with final filling using lateral condensation method or so called
warm gutaperk method (System B, OBTURA) Sometimes level of difficulty during canal
treatment is higher, if doctor tries to get through obliterated, calcified, narrow or crooked
canals, wants to remove left, broken tools or close perforation.

Both microscope and magnifiers give a lot of help (25 times magnification). This equipment
allows to see with bare eyes, to look into the interior of canal and perform treatment under
visual control
