CROWNS – PERMANENT SUPPLEMENT OF SINGLE TEETH

This is a kind of a cap installed permanently (with cement) on filed tooth.

in the course of caries, injury or numerous fillings.

We should keep in mind, that dead teeth have to be enforced with poured metal inlays or more often with fiber glass inlays, to avoid fracture.

shape, brings back bite function, prevents from fracture and damage
of tooth and crown.

There are different kinds of crowns: metal, metal veneered with
ceramics and half-ceramics.

Because aesthetic factor, beside durability is main criterion by the
choice of crown, we use poured crowns veneered with porcelain or
half ceramic.
