WHEN YOUR CHILD COMES TO OUR CLINIC FOR THE FIRST TIME

Preparing your child for the visit in the dental clinic and its
course are crucial for future attitude toward dental treatment.
Our clinic is a friendly place for the child when it comes for the
first time at dentist’s office.

We have some suggestions to make this event least stressful
for the child and its parents:

• talk to the child at home about the course of the visit.
  Terms and phrases like ‘pain’ , ‘it doesn’t hurt at all’ should
  be avoided.
  
• bring the child to the clinic when it doesn’t have any visible
  health problem, especially pain
  
• plan the visit when child is not sleepy, tired, at best time
  of the day

During first appointment we examine if everything develops
properly and give advice about dental care

We check bite, and depending on needs we refer the child for
orthodontic consultation.

We try to make this appointment short, not related with therapy
procedures, and we the child familiar with our equipment.

After the visit we grant children with diploma ‘For brave patient’,
praise it and give little gifts
