DIFFICULT WISDOM TEETH ERUPTION

Eight teeth, so called wisdom teeth erupt usually around age of 20 years.

Frequently teething is impeded because of lack of space in mandible
bone, rarely jaw bone.

Teething of wisdom tooth is usually accompanied by pain, radiating to
ear – bottom eights, or temple – top eights, gum swelling, and also
impeded mouth opening – even lockjaw.

Erupting wisdom teeth can also lead to loss of teeth. They have
different positioning in the bone, for example horizontal.

If being in this position causes no symptoms, they can stay there for
the rest of life. But if it comes to even partial eruption and tooth crown
appears in the mouth, then following clinical indications and basing on
x-ray image tooth should be removed.
